Paris Saint-Germain seems eager to strengthen their midfield this summer, and several potential targets have come up in recent months that they might go after.

Journalist Ben Jacobs recently mentioned on the Wolfpack Podcast that PSG are interested in signing midfielder Pedro Neto. Since the 24-year-old is contracted with Wolverhampton Wanderers until 2027, the club has a strong negotiating position.

Jacobs also pointed out that Wolves are asking for over £60 million for the Portuguese winger. While this hefty price tag and Neto’s injury history have deterred some Premier League teams, PSG seems undeterred and is expected to have a substantial transfer budget this summer.

However, RMC Sport’s Arthur Perrot denied that the reigning Ligue 1 champions have their eyes on Neto with a simple “X” emoji on Twitter.

During the 2023-24 season, Neto played in 24 matches for Wolverhampton, scoring three goals and providing 11 assists. Given his injury history, it will be interesting to see if PSG decides his performance makes him worth the risk.
