France staged a comeback victory on the final Group D matchday of UEFA Women's EURO 2025. Juventus goalkeeper Pauline Peyraud-Magnin's team trailed 2-1 at half-time against the Netherlands, but then stormed back to win the match 5-2. Peyraud-Magnin played the entire game.
France secured first place in the group and qualified for the quarter-finals, where they will face Germany in a match scheduled for Saturday, July 19 at 21:00 CEST in Basel.
Danielle de Jong's Netherlands were eliminated, with the new Juventus goalkeeper remaining on the bench for the entire match against France. England finished second in the group, beating Wales 6-1.
The tournament takes a short break now, with the first quarter-final between Norway and Italy taking place on Wednesday, July 16.
