West Ham host leaders Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Julen Lopetegui’s side are aiming to become just the second side to beat Liverpool this season, with the visitors arriving with a healthy advantage at the top of the table.
West Ham can take heart from a recent upturn in form that included a 1-0 win at Southampton last time out. Jarrod Bowen’s goal was the difference at St Mary’s to extend their unbeaten run to four Premier League games. After a tough start, the Hammers are up to 13th in the table and sit six points from the top six.
Lopetegui is short in midfield with Guido Rodriguez and Tomas Soucek out through suspension. Carlos Soler was also withdrawn against Southampton through injury. Those absences are likely to see Edson Alvarez recalled, while Lucas Paqueta is back from a ban. Andy Irving offers an alternative in midfield.
Elsewhere, Lukasz Fabianski was stretched off at Southampton after a nasty collision and Max Kilam was substituted due to a shoulder issue. Neither are expected to feature. Michail Antonio is a long-term absentee as he recovers from a car accident.
West Ham predicted XI: Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Todibo, Emerson; Alvarez; Bowen, Paqueta, Kudus, Summerville; Fullkrug
