Elliott scored twice against the Netherlands to spearhead the Young Lions to the final before netting the opener on the grand stage against Germany.

His semi-final outing earned him praise from manager Lee Carsley, who said (via the BBC), “Harvey has been outstanding. He is one of many players who have stood up.”

The Hammers could use a creative attacker like Elliott, with Lucas Paqueta’s future at the London Stadium uncertain. The Brazilian is awaiting a decision on his betting case.

West Ham want to try and ship him off, but not many club will be willing to take the punt on a player with a lengthy ban hanging over him.

The club are also looking to sell Mohammed Kudus after he underperformed this season and several Premier League clubs eying a move for him.

Elliott struggled to get a look into Liverpool’s starting XI under Arne Slot, managing only 822 minutes this term. He will likely be open to a move away for playing time.

The 22-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough in 2023/24, bagging four goals and 14 assists in 53 appearances under Jurgen Klopp, but he does not enjoy the same trust from Arne Slot.

West Ham need to be decisive and swoop for Elliott. He fills the holes in the squad and is eager to prove himself.

He could play a massive role in a potential resurgence under Hammers boss Graham Potter.
