Premier League upstarts Aston Villa go into halftime 2-1 down at home against visiting Crystal Palace, but key man Ollie Watkins still has reason to smile.
After Ismaïla Sarr gave the Eagles an early 1-0 lead in the 4th minute, Watkins popped up to level matters in the 36th minute when he rounded Dean Henderson to slot home after being slipped in by John McGinn.
With that Watkins has set a new Villa record, becoming the first player in club history to be directly involved in 50+ goals in front of home support in Birmingham.
As one of the chief pieces under Unai Emery's resurgence efforts in the Midlands, there is surely more to come from the England international.
