Atlético de Madrid have ended 2024 in incredible style, winning 12 games in a row across all competitions to set up a potentially famous 2025.
A big part of their success has been Julián Alvarez, who has been a big success since his blockbuster €95m move from Manchester City.
The Argentine forward has had a marathon season-and-a-half, finishing out last season with City before playing the Copa América and Olympics for his country, before making his debut for Atleti.
As a result, it shouldn't have been much of a surprise that took him five games to net his first goal for the club in a 3-0 win against Valencia.
Since then, though, he has started to bang them in, scoring 12 times in 26 appearances at the midway point of the season.
Take a look at them all here.
After two seasons in England, and his nonstop run of games, Alvarez is rightly enjoying a restful winter break right now, with Atleti's next game a Copa del Rey clash in sunny Marbella on January 4th before LaLiga action resumes the following week.
