Wantaway RB Leipzig defender Castello Lukeba attracting Liverpool and Tottenham interest | OneFootball

Castello Lukeba (22) is looking to leave Red Bull Leipzig this summer, according to a report from Foot Mercato. There is no shortage of interest in the Frenchman.

Since making the move to the Bundesliga side from formative club Olympique Lyonnais, Lukeba has built his reputation. The centre-back, who, to date, has just one cap for Les Bleus, has made 72 appearances for RB Leipzig, but there is a chance that he has played his last.

The Frenchman is very much open to a departure this summer. He is attracting interest from three clubs who will play UEFA Champions League football next season: Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur, and Liverpool.

Whilst the defender has a release clause worth €90m, RB Leipzig are open to parting ways with their player for a lower fee. Lukeba has also previously been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, and Real Madrid, and his current deal runs until 2029.
