Purchasing majority stakes in football clubs in all the range across footballers nowadays, and Real Madrid players are also included in this. Recently, Kylian Mbappe became the owner of French side SM Caen, and now, teammate Vinicius Junior is also eyeing up a similar move.
As reported by O Jogo (via Marca), Vinicius is on the list of people interested in becoming the new owener of FC Alverca, who are a team in the second division of the Portuguese football pyramid. Ricardo Vicintin, the current majority shareholder, wants to sell up for a price close to €10m.
Vinicius is currently involved in a lot of off-field footballing ventures, and FC Alverca could be the latest. For now, it appears that his interest in FC Alverca is just that, although it will be interesting to see if he does make a move in the next few months. In the meantime, he remains primarily focused on Real Madrid.
