After Chelsea came back to win 3-2 on Saturday Night Football, all the talk was about Cole Palmer, who was instrumental for his team once again.

He set up the opening goal with a slide rule pass, and Sky pundit Jamie Redknapp was loving what he was seeing.

“He’s got that languid, classy, beautiful style… he sees the pass, he can nick a goal as well. He’s a lovely footballer.”

Michael Dawson on the other hand went for the “calmness” that Palmer has, noting one moment in the game yesterday where he had “twisted and turned” in his own box to escape pressure.

The list of players they had to compare him with statistically was ridiculous and showed just what kind of level he was already at.

“They’ve been very lucky they’ve had him” the former Spurs defender added, quite accurately.
