Video: Odogu all set to join Milan from Wolfsburg on deadline day | OneFootball

19-year-old defender David Odogu is on the ground and Italy and is currently undergoing a medical ahead of a move from Wolfsburg to Milan, footage confirms.

Milan are expected to sign the 19-year-old Germany youth international on deadline day. He has made three Bundesliga appearances in his career to date.

The Rossoneri have been exploring deals for several centre-backs over the last few days of the summer transfer window. A move for Manuel Akanji did not materialise, and now he is set to join rivals Inter, while Joe Gomez’s sale by Liverpool is still blocked.

Milan do, however, have an agreement in place with Wolfsburg for Odogu, who is set to become the club’s ninth new signing of the summer transfer window, following the previous arrivals of Luka Modric, Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci, Pervis Estupinan, Koni De Winter, Zachary Athekame, Christopher Nkunku and Pietro Terracciano.
