Chelsea are now reportedly interested in signing one Italian international this summer in a potential swoop that would excite Blues fans for sure.

Football fans have been glued to the Euros once again these last couple of weeks, and the competition has not disappointed in terms of entertainment value.

One player has been a bit of a standout, well, more than one actually. But Riccardo Calafiori of Italy has been superb and has gained some more admirers, one of them is Chelsea.

As you can see from the video above, Chelsea are now interested in the Bologna defender for a potential move this summer.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says: “Chelsea are following the Riccardo Calafiori situation. Internally, they want a talented left-footed defender for this summer, not the future.”

Juventus are also keen on the player, but if Chelsea could somehow pull this one off then it would be an excellent signing.
