Valencia star negotiating contract renewal | OneFootball

A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga outfit Valencia is negotiating the terms of a contract renewal with the club.

That’s according to club insider Héctor Gómez, who points towards Javi Guerra as the player in question.

The name of youngster Guerra has proven a prominent one in the headlines surrounding Valencia across the summer to date.

This comes after the 22-year-old was hotly tipped for an incoming Mestalla departure.

Italian heavyweights AC Milan, for one, are understood to have expressed a keen interest in Guerra’s services with a view to next season.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media on Wednesday is anything to go by, then the midfield starlet appears to be increasingly open to staying put in Valencia.

As per a report from journalist Héctor Gómez:

‘Javi Guerra is negotiating the offer that Valencia presented to him on Friday. He positively values the step and the offer that the club has proposed.

‘Details such as first-year salary, bonuses, release clause’ are under discussion.
