WHEN ARE THE GAMES?

The tournament begins with Iceland and Finland locking horns in Group at Arena Thun on Wednesday 2 July at 17:00 (UK) before hosts Switzerland play Norway on the same day in Basel at 20:00 (UK).

England’s meeting with Wales on Sunday 13 July at 20:00 (UK) represents the last group game before the quarter-finals take place between 16-19 July.

The semi-finals will then be held on 22 and 23 July ahead of the final at St Jakob-Park, Basel on Sunday 27 July.

WHO COULD BE PLAYING?

Across the most recent international break, a total of nine City players were called up by national teams who will compete at the Euros this summer.

Although it’s not certain who will be selected just yet - it could provide an indication as to who may feature at the upcoming tournament and, as ever, there may be surprise inclusions.

For Nations League fixtures, England selected Khiara Keating, Alex Greenwood, Jess Park, Lauren Hemp and Laura Blindkilde Brown.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Knaak (Germany), Kerstin Casparij and Vivianne Miedema (both Netherlands) and Mayzee Davies (Wales) were all called up for the competition’s group stage conclusion.
