Two in, one out: Athletic Club predicted XI to face AS Roma | OneFootball

Athletic Club are back in European football for the first time since 2018, and despite their six-year absence, the Bilbao-based club will be looking to make a deep run into the Europa League this season.

If they are looking to do well in Europe this season they will be hopeful of getting their campaign off to the best possible start with a win in their first match away against AS Roma, an ambition which will be helped with the return of two key players to their squad.

Star-man Nico Williams and left-back Yuri Berchiche are set to return, whilst goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala is set to be fit to start despite coming off with a knock at the weekend against Celta Vigo.

However, Athletic Club will be without Oihan Sancet, who hasn’t travelled due to a muscle strain. Longer-term absentees Unai Simón and Yeray Álvarez will remain out of action as well.
