Porto and Juventus are the latest teams to enquire about a loan move for midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka according to reports.
The January window is into the final week and Chelsea are expected to be busy, with the club looking to move a number of players on, as well as trying to bring one or two new faces in.
Chelsea have been quieter than expected this month with Renato Veiga’s loan to move Juventus the only outgoing to date, whilst they have agreed a deal to sign Mamadou Sarr from Strasbourg, with the teenager set to join in the summer.
It’s going to be a busy week as Chelsea search for solutions for the likes of Ben Chilwell and Axel Disasi, whilst Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku could potentially leave the club.
There seems to be very few suitors for Chilwell, but Disasi has agreed terms with Aston Villa, and Unai Emery’s side now need to find an agreement with Chelsea.
Chukwuemeka is another player expected to leave in this window, but as of yet an exit hasn’t materialised for the 21-year-old.

Borussia Dortmund had shown interest in a loan, but that appears to have cooled, although Chelsea have changed their stance, having previously insisted they would only sanction a departure if the £40m release clause was met.
Chukwuemeka isn’t short of suitors and Mail Sport have reported European giants Juventus and Porto are the latest clubs to express an interest in taking the midfielder on loan.
The reports adds Chelsea had been keen to try and send Chukwuemeka on loan to Strasbourg, whilst the Blues have also tried to convince potential suitors to pay the £40m release clause.
Chukwuemeka’s time at Stamford Bridge has been plagued by injury issues since signing from Aston Villa in 2022 for £20m.

The former Villa man isn’t part of the plans under Enzo Maresca and has started just one game this season against Astana in the Conference League.
This isn’t a good situation for all parties involved and Chelsea just need to get Chukwuemeka out playing football, but the clock is ticking to find a solution.
