Despite the signing of Santiago Gimenez, AC Milan have not ruled out a permanent addition for Tammy Abraham it seems.
With a brace against his parent club, Abraham has proved that he is not willing to let his role go. For Gimenez and the Englishman, Milan are the club of dreams, and they will fight for a position moving forward.
As Tuttosport (via Pianeta Milan) writes, the Roma striker has eight goals in a Rossoneri shirt this season, and he is not finished just yet. Currently, he is enjoying perhaps his ‘best moment’ in the colours, and he is determined to continue that moment, rather than let it fade away.
His goal? Simple, to convince the management to take a gamble on him in the summer and make his stay permanent, and it is not an outrageous idea considering other ideas have already begun to be internally discussed.
There is a ‘curiosity’ with the situation though. Whilst he led the side in midweek, he is fully aware of the fact that Gimenez is destined to lead when he is ready, so he is going to attempt to ‘undermine’ the Mexican to win that starting spot back.
Having two forwards full of confidence raising each other’s level can only be a good thing though, and now, we must wait to see how it plays out.
