Premier League clubs out to secure huge deals before deadline
Transfer news LIVE!
Arsenal look to have received a major boost over Ollie Watkins as they push for a massive striker deal before Monday’s transfer deadline. The Gunners have seen an opening bid snubbed by Aston Villa, but the England international is now said to be open to joining his boyhood club. There has been a sizable new twist in the Sverre Nypan saga amid fresh Arsenal links to Mateo Retegui.
Tottenham are believed to have agreed a £50million deal for Mathys Tel, though Manchester United now appear to have hijacked those talks as they also finalise the signing of Ayden Heaven from Arsenal. Patrick Dorgu should complete his move to Old Trafford this weekend amid rumours over a deal for Geovany Quenda, while they could yet sell Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea, who have their eye on a new goalkeeper in Gregor Kobel.
Spurs have agreed to sign Manchester City youngster Daniel Batty, while Liverpool are still eyeing Rayan Cherki but could face strong competition. West Ham are looking to land a striker with Arthur Cabral potentially on his way in after pursuits of Evan Ferguson and Ricardo Pepi. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip below!

Tottenham have failed in an enquiry over taking Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho on loan.
According to the Mail, United are not interested in loaning out the player to a rival but would consider bids of around £60million.
Chelsea and Napoli are also interested.
Spurs hold a long-standing interest in Garnacho, but it remains to be seen if the player is similarly inclined.

Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou says any prospective signings who need the "hard sell" to join the club are "not right" for Spurs this month.
Bayern Munich's Mathys Tel is reported to have turned down Spurs after the clubs agreed a £50million fee for the 19-year-old forward, while they are also exploring available centre-backs ahead of Monday's deadline after Radu Dragusin suffered a knee injury against Elfsborg.
Johan Lange, Spurs' technical director, flew to Munich this week to discuss a move with Tel's camp but the Frenchman is thought to be considering other options.
Postecoglou has consistently said he only wants new signings who are enthusiastic about the club's potential and, asked about the challenge of convincing players to join given Spurs' league position, he said: "It depends what the players are looking for.
Postecoglou said: "It’s still a big club, it’s still a club that can challenge for honours and it’s whether the player sees the potential that we see right now, or certainly that I see. If it’s too much of a hard sell it’s probably not the right one for us."

Well, to their defence, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports that Spurs are advancing in talks with AC Milan over a deal for Fikayo Tomori.
It remains to be seen if the deal is a loan or a permanent as Spurs look for cover for Radu Dragusin, who has suffered a knee injury.

Well, this is rather interesting.
According to The Athletic, Aston Villa are considering a loan move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford,
Rashford is said to prefer a move to Barcelona but could reportedly consider his options due to his continued exile from Ruben Amorim's squad.
Were Villa to secure a deal for Rashford, could that open the door for Arsenal to swoop for Ollie Watkins?
Certainly one to keep an eye on.
