Transfer news – Chevalier to PSG, Létang gives official confirmation!

Lucas Chevalier, Lille's 23-year-old goalkeeper (contract until 2027) and a member of the French national team, is rumored to be close to joining Paris Saint-Germain in this transfer market to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma (26 years old, contract until 2026 and extension blocked). Lille president Olivier Letang confirmed the transfer in a press conference.

« We have selected the players who can leave. For Lucas, we had a great emotional moment yesterday because we spent 4 and a half years building a career and goodbyes are always special moments. There is therefore no longer any doubt, Chevalier is leaving Lille and should be officially at PSG in the next few hours. He is the first major recruit of the Parisian summer, with Ilya Zabarnyi (22-year-old defender from Bournemouth and Ukraine) expected to follow. And maybe a few other players, but nothing is certain yet.
