Tottenham face a Southampton side who will be hoping to delay relegation into the Championship this afternoon.
Spurs are currently languishing just two places above the drop zone after being dealt their sixteenth league defeat of the campaign by fierce rivals Chelsea.
A slight solace from that disheartening result is the fact that Sunday’s hosts have no fresh injury concerns to contend with.
On Thursday, Ange Postecoglou and his players welcome Eintracht Frankfurt to North London in the Europa League quarter-final. With that fixture in mind, the Australian manager may choose to rest key players such as Heung-min Son, James Maddison and Micky Van de Ven.
Richarlison is poised to return to the squad after training without restrictions for an extended period. Dejan Kulusevski and Kevin Danso will remain on the sidelines for at least another week.
If Southampton lose today, they will become the quickest team to be demoted in Premier League history.
Their task has been made slightly harder by the probable absence of imposing striker Paul Onuachu. The 6’7 striker was unable to partake in training following his goal against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
To add to the selection headache for Ivan Juric, midfielder Flynn Downes is suspended. The 26-year-old has accumulated 10 bookings in the league this season, which has resulted in a two-match ban.
However, Chelsea loanee Lesley Ugochukwu has been cleared to play after being forced off in that draw with the Eagles.

The relationship between the Spurs fanbase and Ange Postecoglou is certainly fractured after another pitiful performance.
At Stamford Bridge on Thursday night, the players looked bereft of ideas which allowed Chelsea to claim another triumph.
They are now winless in their last four games in this competition and have dropped as low as 16th position.
Postecoglou will be hoping his side can regain some confidence this afternoon ahead of that crucial European tie with Frankfurt on Thursday.

On Wednesday night, Southampton’s hearts were broken by Crystal Palace, who managed to find a late equaliser in the dying embers.
In the first half, Paul Onuachu’s towering header had given his team the advantage. It was familiar territory for the Saints, as it was the eleventh time they had struck first in a league match. However, their failure to manage games adequately was their downfall once again.
Ultimately, they crumbled under the pressure and were denied only their third league win of a miserable campaign by Matheus Franca.
Overall, it was a positive display from Southampton, who are now only a point away from equalling Derby County’s 11-point haul in the 2007/08 season. A shock victory today would not only momentarily preserve their top-flight status, but prevent them from being regarded as the worst team in Premier League history.
A five-star display from Spurs on the South Coast saw them sink a subdued Southampton side.
It took just 40 seconds for the rout to commence with James Maddison ruthlessly dispatching past Alex McCarthy.
Djed Spence created the opening with industrious work down the right-flank culminating in an inch-perfect assist.
By the quarter of an hour mark, Tottenham had put three past the hosts. Maddison’s cross-field pass was helped on its way by Jan Bednarek before reaching Spurs skipper Heung-min Son. The South Korean’s first-time finish squirmed underneath the goalkeeper.
Two minutes later, Dejan Kulusevski had the simple task of tapping into an empty net after Dominic Solanke’s shot was blocked by Bednarek.
Southampton’s implosion showed no signs of slowing down and the home faithful began to leave the stadium. Their decision was justified as Pape Matar Sarr pierced through the heart of the Saints defence to record the Lilywhites’ fourth of the evening.
In first-half stoppage-time, Maddison grabbed his second of the match to cap off a merciless 45 minutes from Ange Postecoglou’s side.
Son exquisitely found his vice-captain with an incisive pass using the outside of his foot. Spurs’ number 10 found himself at an acute angle, but expertly managed to fire a blistering shot into the opposite side-netting.
The second period was played at a pedestrian pace with the outcome of the contest inevitable.
In a desperate attempt to salvage a slither of pride, former Tottenham full-back Kyle Walker-Peters clipped the upright.
The drubbing ended up being Russell Martin’s final game in charge of the Saints. Just hours after the heavy defeat, the 39-year-old was relieved of his duties with the club rooted to the bottom of the table.

Michael Salisbury will be the match official. Mat Wilkes and Derek Eaton will assist him while Sam Barrott will be the fourth official. The VAR will be Graham Scott and he will be assisted by Natalie Aspinall.
Tottenham vs Southampton will not be televised in the United Kingdom.
