Tottenham Hotspur head to Germany to take on Eintracht Frankfurt this evening.
The Europa League quarter-final clash is perfectly poised, following a 1-1 draw in North London last week. Spurs dominated that first contest, but were unable to find a winner as the home side spurned several clear-cut chances.
For Ange Postecoglou, it appears win-or-bust in this competition. Spurs slipped to a 17th defeat of the Premier League campaign at Wolves at the weekend and are 15th in the table. However, success in the Europa League would end a 17-year wait for a trophy and secure Champions League qualification.
Frankfurt are aiming to win this tournament for the second time in four seasons. Domestically, a 3-0 win over Heidenheim at the weekend leaves the German side third in the Bundesliga and on course for Champions League qualification.
Heung-min Son has not travelled with the Spurs squad due to a persistent foot problem. Despite training this week, the Spurs captain has not been included.
Ange Postecoglou otherwise has a strong squad to select from. Dejan Kulusevski returned from injury at Wolves at the weekend, while Kevin Danso and Wilson Odobert are in contention after spells on the sidelines.
Tottenham predicted XI: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bergvall, Bentancur, Kulusevski; Johnson, Solanke, Maddison.
The second leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie takes place on Thursday 17th April 2025. Kick-off in Germany is 20:00 GMT.
The game will be available to watch on TNT Sports 3 and Discovery+ UK.
