In a recent post on X, journalist Sebastien Vidal mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are keeping a keen eye on Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo. It has been stated that Spurs are eyeing a move to bring the Ghanaian wing wizard to North London this summer.
Semenyo had a decent campaign at the English club recently as he was responsible for putting in a run of impressive displays on the left side of their attack. The 25-year-old banged in 15 goals and earned seven assists in 42 matches for Bournemouth last season across multiple competitions.
The Ghana international deserves a ton of credit for averaging 3.51 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He kept 32% of his attempts on target. However, Semenyo needs to improve his link-up play in the opponent’s half after completing 73.4% of his attempted passes in the English top tier (stats via fbref.com).
Semenyo is under contract at the Vitality Stadium until the summer of 2029. Thus, Tottenham would have to make a convincing offer if they want to get him on board this off-season.

Semenyo can use his pace to cause a lot of headaches for his marker out on the flanks. He is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to engineer a few inviting chances for his teammates on the offensive end of the pitch.
The Ghana international can shoot the ball with venom from long range. He mainly plays as a left-sided wide player but can also fill in as a right-winger if told to do so. Semenyo knows the Premier League well and won’t take much time to settle into life at Tottenham.
We can expect him to bring more pace and goals to Spurs boss Thomas Frank’s frontline. The London-born wing wizard is good enough to nail down a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season.
At 25, Semenyo has his best years ahead of him which makes him an excellent option for the North London giants to consider in this summer transfer window. Therefore, Frank should focus on getting a deal done for him soon.
