In a recent post on X, respected journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are in talks to sign Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze this summer. It has been mentioned that Spurs are trying to get a deal done to land the English talent in this transfer period.

Eze’s Good Run Of Form In English Football

The 27-year-old had a productive campaign at the London club last season as he managed to produce a string of impressive performances for them in the final third. Eze netted 14 times and picked up 11 assists in 43 matches for Crystal Palace in the previous campaign in all competitions.

The English attacker was a decent performer in the opponent’s half based on his average of 3.48 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He kept 27% of his shots on target. Is Eze A Decent Choice For Tottenham Hotspur?

Eze can use his quickness and dribbling ability to get in behind the opponent’s backline. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes on the offensive end of the field and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. Eze can even strike the ball with venom from long range.

The English talent can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals in front of the opponent’s goal. He is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also function as a left-sided wide player if asked to do so.

We can expect Eze to add more firepower to Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank’s attack. He is good enough to challenge for a regular first-team spot at the North London club next season.
