In a recent report, journalist Pete O’Rourke revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are in talks to land Nottingham Forest playmaker Morgan Gibbs-White. It is believed that Spurs are eager to bring the English attacker to North London this summer.
The 24-year-old has been a decent performer in the final third as he has put in a series of impressive displays for them in the Premier League. Gibbs-White has scored six goals and grabbed ten assists in 41 appearances for Nottingham this season on all fronts.
The English talent has been a decent performer in the opponent’s half as he is averaging 1.9 shots, 2.0 key passes, 1.5 crosses and 1.2 dribbles per game in the Premier League. He has even been tidy when distributing possession after completing 77% of his attempted passes in league football (stats via whoscored).
His current contract at the City Ground will run out in the summer of 2027. Hence, Spurs would have to make a big offer if they are serious about recruiting him later this year.

Gibbs-White is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet and can create some inviting chances for others around him deep inside the opposition half. He can strike the ball with power and accuracy from long range and has done well to contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top.
The English sensation is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also play as a centre-forward or as a box-to-box midfielder if told to do so. We can expect him to bring more quality and depth to Tottenham boss Angelos Postecoglu’s match-day squad. He is more than capable of fighting for a regular starting spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
At 24, Gibbs-White has got his best years ahead of him which makes him an excellent option for the North London club to pursue when the transfer window reopens at the end of this campaign. He already knows the Premier League well and won’t take much time to settle into life at the London club if Postecoglu can devise a way to get him on board in the upcoming transfer period.
