With injuries piling up at Tottenham, any good news is always welcome—especially when it involves the return of players the team has sorely missed on the pitch.
Recently, the Spurs received a major boost as one of their key players, Guglielmo Vicario, made his comeback after a serious injury.
But before diving into that, let’s take a look at some of the latest news surrounding the club.
On Wednesday, Tottenham faced Manchester City in the Premier League but suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Guardiola’s side.
Another update is that, according to reports, Tottenham are ready to step back and part ways with Yves Bissouma, as the midfielder is said to have failed to fully convince Postecoglou.
Now, back to Tottenham’s goalkeeper—he has made a surprising revelation about his recovery that few saw coming.

Guglielmo Vicario sustained an ankle injury in Tottenham’s defeat to Manchester City last November, which required surgery to address the issue.
For three long months, the 28-year-old had to remain sidelined while he recovered.
Now that he has finally returned to the Spurs squad, the club has released a documentary about his journey titled 'The Comeback: Vicario'.
In the documentary, the goalkeeper explains that his recovery was far from straightforward, revealing that he had to undergo a second operation in December: "Something has happened, it does not look right today. I need to speak to the doctor and see.
"So, this one has been a tricky one. There was a stitch on the ankle, a dissolvable one that my body didn’t dissolve. I went to the hospital and we had this small surgery in the theatre again, the second time in the last seven weeks."
Vicario admitted that, despite feeling like he was on the road to recovery, having to undergo a second surgery was a major setback.
However, he understands that it was all part of the process and beyond his control: "Sometimes you can have small setbacks that didn’t depend on you, but it is what it is. So just looking forward, confident to be back in training."
Thanks to his resilience, Vicario was able to keep looking forward and push himself to return to training as soon as possible.
