Milan Škriniar’s future at Paris Saint-Germain appears uncertain, with manager Luis Enrique opting for Willian Pacho and Marquinhos as his preferred center-back duo.
This shift has reignited speculation about Škriniar’s potential departure. The Slovak defender, who rejected offers from other clubs during the summer transfer window, might now be considering a move as the January window opens.
According to L’Équipe, Škriniar is expected to make a decision this week about which club he’ll join this winter. PSG is keen to secure a loan deal with an option to buy.
The defender has also drawn interest from Galatasaray, Tottenham, Napoli, and Aston Villa. However, Napoli isn’t offering a purchase option, while the Premier League clubs hold particular appeal for Škriniar.
However, could Aston Villa be looking at an alternate option?

Graeme Bailey, Chief Correspondent at TBR Football, reported on Friday, citing sources, that Aston Villa have shown interest in Axel Disasi, who Chelsea are looking to sell this month.
The central defender, who joined Chelsea for £38.8 million from Monaco in August 2023, has struggled under Enzo Maresca this season and appears to be surplus to requirements, especially after Trevoh Chalobah was recalled from his loan at Crystal Palace.
Additionally, the report mentions that Juventus have also reached out about signing Disasi from Chelsea.
A report from CaughtOffside claims that PSG could be willing to sell Škriniar for around €35 million, with two Premier League clubs showing interest.
Newcastle United are reportedly keeping an eye on the situation, aiming to strengthen their defense amid concerns over Jamaal Lascelles and Fabian Schär. They view Škriniar as an experienced and affordable option.
Tottenham are also said to be interested, seeing him as a reliable backup for Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero. However, negotiations may be tricky, as manager Ange Postecoglou reportedly sees Škriniar more as a rotational player than a regular starter.
