Howe and his squad are currently in Australia for exhibition matches against Tottenham and an A-League All Stars team.

Meanwhile, Newcastle’s recruitment team is actively working on potential deals ahead of the transfer window reopening.

Senior officials at the club have already had detailed discussions about Adarabioyo and Kelly, both of whom will be free agents next month as their contracts with Fulham and Bournemouth respectively expire.

Adarabioyo has reportedly decided not to renew his contract with Fulham.

According to Scott Wilson, (The Northern Echo) despite interest from Manchester United, the 26-year-old centre-back is understood to be favouring a move to Newcastle.

Kelly, on the other hand, will be leaving Bournemouth, where he was initially brought in by Howe during his tenure at the club.

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola hinted at Kelly’s departure, stating, “I think probably he will play somewhere else.”

Newcastle are confident about securing both players.

Howe mentioned that the club has been planning for the summer transfer window since early this year. “My thoughts on the transfer window have probably been there since January, February time. The minute one window shuts, you’re planning for the next one,” Howe explained.

United’s recruitment team will need to act swiftly and decisively to secure their targets, ensuring they do not miss out on another one of their key signings.
