Aston Villa's loan move for PSG's Marco Asensio is looking like a masterstroke from Sporting Director Monchi.
The 29-year-old scored within four minutes of entering the pitch in Villa's Champions League tie with Club Brugge, his sixth goal in eight games for his new side.
That put the aggregate score at 4-1 between the two teams before Ian Maatsen added another, leaving very little doubt that Unai Emery's men would make it through to a quarter-final clash with PSG...Asensio's parent club.
The Mallorca-born attacker then fired in another, assisted by his wing-man Marcus Rashford, making the score 6-1 and Asensio the highest scoring substitute in Champions League history.
That might make things a little awkward for Asensio, but for now Villa can just enjoy a special night on home soil.
