Theo Hernandez has spoken about Rafael Leao in an interview today, and despite being honest about his personality, he still admires his teammates.

The talk of recent weeks has been about Theao. Under Paulo Fonseca, the duo were often the headlines, but for all the wrong reasons. Now, with Sergio Conceicao at the helm, they have returned to headlines for all the right reasons.

In the Supercoppa Italiana final, the duo were back to their best and were both heavily involved in Milan’s emphatic comeback. Leao won the free-kick scored by Theo, Theo assisted Christian Pulisic for the equaliser and Leao slotted the ball into Tammy Abraham, who himself is seeing a bit of a revitalization under the new coach.

Today, Theo was interviewed by PUMA about a few things to do with Milan, and his own life, and he admitted that Leao is not always the winger that we see on the pitch, and Milan News relayed his words.

Who is the most careless teammate?

“Leao for me. He’s a bit like that, he arrives at training asleep. We wake him up in training.”

And has anything funny happened lately, or is he always the subject of all the jokes?

“No, not jokes. Let’s say he is the one who doesn’t seem to give a damn. Then in the game, he is devastating.”

The craziest thing you’ve done for football?

“Before the European Championship, I took a trip to Australia, a bit far away…”
