Chivas Femenil played their first home game in the 2025 Apertura and got off to a good start, beating Bravas de Juárez 1-0 in Matchday 3, in a game that had everything and tested the character and mental strength of Rebaño, as they had to play with a numerical disadvantage for more than 45 minutes.
It was precisely in the final stretch of the first half, when the match was still 0-0, that Antonio Contreras' team suffered the expulsion of Carolina Jaramillo and had to adapt to compete with that handicap. However, with some wise adjustments, the Rebaño Femenil defended well and found the right moment to hurt the Bravas, maintaining their perfect record in the tournament.
With this context in mind, let's talk about the data that validates Guadalajara Femenil's great start to the 2025 Apertura.
- As we mentioned earlier, the Rojiblancas continue their perfect run in AP25, with three wins in three games played.
- As if that weren't enough, Chivas Femenil is the only team in the women's circuit that has not conceded a goal in the three games played. In fact, they also achieved this in the CL25, when they did not concede any goals in their first three games.
- Curiously, Guadalajara Femenil has seen a red card in its last two matches against the Bravas and has not lost either of those games (1D and 1W).
- Thursday's match was the seventh meeting between Chivas and Juárez in Guadalajara, and the Rojiblancas have never lost, with five wins and two draws.
- In fact, in six of the seven games between the two teams in Jalisco, the Rebaño Femenil kept a clean sheet.
- Guadalajara has never lost in its home debut throughout the history of the Liga MX Femenil, recording 14 wins and 3 draws.
- With only three minutes on the field, Joseline Montoya capped off a dream return to AKRON Stadium, scoring the winning goal with a tremendous long-range shot.
- The last time Joseline Montoya played a match as a Rojiblanca in Guadalajara was on May 21, 2023, when she also scored a goal (Quarterfinal First Leg against Pachuca). 802 days later, she returned with another goal.
