An insight into the future of Barcelona star Ferran Torres has this week been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and points towards frontman Ferran looking highly likely to remain in Catalunya’s capital for next season.

Though he has of course spent a significant chunk of the campaign sidelined through injury, the former Manchester City man has largely impressed when fit and firing on all cylinders.

All told, Ferran has pieced together a solid haul of 11 goals and four assists this season to date.

MD, as a result, point towards the Spanish international as being considered an ‘important’ member of Xavi’s squad.

In turn, his sale would only be sanctioned by the Blaugrana’s headmaster this summer in the case of one specific scenario playing out – ‘Xavi being assured of a better replacement’.

With as much looking unlikely, Ferran is expected to stay put, but an exit – as is the case with so many Barcelona players at present – cannot be definitively ruled out.
