MILAN – On the San Siro turf, the boys and girls of Inter Campus Italia have been having experiences that they won’t forget lightly. Everyone of them has their own story, but their united by the same situation: they are all either cured or recovering patients of the Maria Letizia Verga Foundation in Monza, and they are all part of the Nerazzurri’s social project, which helps the kids to play throughout their treatment, as well as aiding them on their return to normality once their therapeutic journey ends.

Today, they had their training session, with the Inter Campus coaches and many special guests, including Javier Zanetti, Inter Vice President, who has always shown his care for the needs of the youngest members of our community. The FC Bayern coaches involved in the Social Community Exchange also attended for this special occasion of the Champions League match.

And to conclude, the kids will go onto the pitch, hand in hand with their icons that they normally only ever see on the television. It is a dream and a unique feeling to top off a special day, made possible by Inter Campus and UEFA Foundation for Children’s collaboration, that, alongside Mastercard, offered the children of the Nerazzurri social project this unforgettable experience: on the month of the UEFA Foundation’s tenth anniversary, the greatest gift was given to them.
