Manchester United are preparing to sign off on Jadon Sancho’s departure once and for all.

The winger is among a quintet of players to have had their pre-season training returns delayed amid an expectation they leave the club this summer; Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and Tyrell Malacia are all actively seeking new ventures like Sancho.

Whilst United await concrete approaches for their other outcasts, they do reportedly have one proposal to mull over, with Juventus looking to finalise a deal for Sancho in the coming days.

Indeed, Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport claims the Serie A outfit are ‘one step away’ from adding the 25-year-old to their ranks after entering ‘the decisive week’ of negotiations.

Talks are said to be taking place daily between both clubs, and United are adamant about removing Sancho from their books and recuperating a fee before his contract expires next summer.

Despite Sancho’s extortionate wage requests deterring Napoli and Chelsea in recent weeks, he has allegedly agreed to lower his demands in order to ensure he can complete the transfer he wants.

How much are United expecting to sanction Sancho’s sale?

€30 million (£25m) is the price tag United have attached to their £73m acquisition, although the Old Lady are attempting to reduce the upfront fee they’ll have to pay by pledging add-ons, as well as paying the lump sum over the course of ‘several financial years’.

INEOS, who are desperate to raise funds to bolster Ruben Amorim’s squad before 2025/2026 gets underway, mightn’t be best pleased with how Juventus are approaching the payment structure, so there’s certainly work to be done until the deal is formally signed and sealed
