The Athletic have revealed whether the Club World Cup revenue will make a difference to Chelsea’s transfer plans.
The Blues are recruiting well so far this summer, bringing in players that it seems will make manager Enzo Maresca happy as well as sticking within their plans and the project and how they recruit.
Things are heating up now, and Fabrizio Romano had some pretty big Chelsea transfer news to report this morning that could effect a few things.
Chelsea also started talks with the agent of a very good attacking player earlier this week, as revealed yesterday, so that one could be another one to keep a close eye on as we enter the latter stages if the summer transfer window.
Chelsea have bought in some serious revenue at the end of this season now after finishing in the top four in the Premier League, winning The Conference League, and then winning the Club World Cup at the weekend if course, smashing PSG 3-0.

No, basically, it will not. That is at least according to The Athletic today.
They report that the sudden injection of extra revenue has made no difference to Chelsea’s transfer plans, though. They are already happy with the business done so far this summer in adding three players to their attack in Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens.
We will see what happens then for the rest of the window, but you’d imagine that Chelsea will certainly be doing some more business yet anyone expecting any huge names or marquee signings at Chelsea could end up being disappointment.
