Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has put out what he knows on one potential major Chelsea transfer deal that could now happen this month.
There is a lot now going on at Chelsea as things are starting to come to life in this winter transfer window, and the drama has begun.
We have been writing up a number of reports on this website this week regarding a few potential big deals that could happen. And yesterday saw a huge shock bit of news come out.
Chelsea have been linked to Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo and could even look to try and sign him this month as United may be open to a sale. It appears that Chelsea are looking at some potential arrival opportunities, and some are coming up.
There could be an opportunity to try and bring back former centre back Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace as well, with news of that breaking earlier this week. That would be a pretty huge deal too.
But this month will mostly be about outgoings, and I think these will rest on any business that we see Chelsea do in terms of new signings coming in.
Nkunku off?
Christopher Nkunku is one surprise player who could see the Stamford Bridge exit door this month as he mainly only gets to play in cup games right now.
There has been a lot of talk about PSG being keen to sign him, and Romano has spoken out about that just last night.
“There is nothing concrete or serious from PSG for Nkunku, but he could still leave somewhere else, that’s my information, especially if he goes to Chelsea and asks to leave.”
He also says that Kiernan Dewsbury Hall can also leave if a good offer comes in.
