Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for this afternoon’s clash with Ross County in Dingwall. The Scottish Champions are without Daizen Maeda, James Forrest, Nicolas Kühn and Luis Palma, which has allowed Daniel Cummings, Adam Montgomery and Johnny Kenny the opportunity to take their place on the bench.

Kasper Schmeichel starts in goals.

Alex Valle comes into the team at left back with Greg Taylor dropping to the bench. Alistair Johnston continues at right back with the American Bhoys of Cameron Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty at centre back.

In midfield, Callum McGregor starts with Reo Hatate and Arne Engels.

In attack, Adam Idah starts through the middle with Kyogo on the left and Yang out on the right.

Subs: Sinisalo, Taylor, Scales, McCowan, Kenny, Bernardo, Montgomery, Cummings, Ralston

Montgomery, Kenny and Cummings will be hoping to get time on the pitch as Brendan manages the lack of fit attackers in his squad. Kenny was in impressive form scoring 20 goals in 39 games for Shamrock Rovers before his loan ended whilst Cummings has been banging them in for the B Team with 25 strikes this season, both will be eager to seize their chance in the first team. For Montgomery, who has been involved with the first team before, he will look to mark his return from injury with time on the pitch – especially against the backdrop of Celtic considering their left back options.
