A surprise suitor is keeping close tabs on Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho as uncertainty over his future rumbles on.
Sancho is not believed to have a future at United, following his bitter public spat with Erik ten Hag in the 2023/24 campaign, which saw the player loaned out to Borussia Dortmund for the latter half of that season.
Despite enjoying an uptick in form at Dortmund, the Bundesliga side opted against making his signing a permanent one. Sancho briefly returned to United but was then loaned out again, this time to Chelsea, for the entirety of the 2024/25 term.
He had an up-and-down spell at Chelsea, who like Dortmund, chose not to extend his stay. In fact, Chelsea paid United a £5m penalty fee to send Sancho back to Old Trafford.
Sancho is one of five United players who have been exiled from first-team training as they search for clubs willing to sign them.
Sancho has not been short of interest despite his woeful fortunes in England. He has been linked to the likes of Fenerbahce, Napoli, Aston Villa, Besiktas and the Saudi Pro League.
However, his mega wages have proven to be a big hindrance, with most clubs unable or simply unwilling to match his salary expectations.
Yet, Juventus are showing the strongest interest in the England international. Talks between the Old Lady and Sancho’s camp have been ongoing for weeks and now and there is a genuine desire to get a deal over the line.
More recently, a report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that Juventus have offered United £15m to sanction a permanent exit for Sancho.
It remains to be seen whether United deem this proposal an acceptable one or they hold out for a little bit more money.
Now, reliable Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that Sancho has popped up on Inter Milan’s radar.
Di Marzio notes that Sancho “has been proposed” to Inter, who could make a move for him if their pursuit of Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman falls through.
Inter are prepared to lodge a €40m bid for Lookman but Atalanta value the winger at €50m.
The Nerazzuri are adamant they will not fo higher than that, hence why they are exploring alternative targets like Sancho.
