Tosin Adarabioyo only signed for Chelsea in the summer, but he really struck us as someone who was delighted to be at the club.

It oozes out of him, and you can really hear it in his voice when he talks about putting on the Blue shirt:

“When you put that shirt on and see the Chelsea badge, it’s an absolutely amazing feeling,” he told the Chelsea official website in an interview.

“You know how big and prestigious this club is, and how many legends have been here in the past. It definitely feels like home now. It’s been quite seamless settling in, knowing the manager and a few of the boys. It’s been great.”

It always makes a difference to have players playing for you who really want to be there, and Tosin is without doubt one of those who appreciates every minute.

There is a little bit of a problem on the horizon for Tosin, however. After injury struck down Wesley Fofana and then Benoit Badiashile, the former Fulham man was able to establish himself as first choice to partner Levi Colwill at the back for the Blues.

He had some good performances and some notable moments along the way – that block against Everton to keep it 0-0 stands out.

But with the team struggling for form in recent games, Tosin was one of the players to be dropped, and with Josh Acheampong doing super well and being called Chelsea’s “best player” in his first Premier League start last weekend against Crystal Palace, we do worry for Tosin that he may have been bumped all the way down to 5th choice in the pecking order again.
