Stuttgart make approach to sign Arsenal’s Fabio Vieira | OneFootball

As Stuttgart prepare for the departure of Enzo Millot, the Bundesliga side have identified Arsenal playmaker Fabio Vieira (25) as a replacement for the Frenchman. VfB have already made an approach to sign the Portuguese player but an agreement is yet to be reached with talks ongoing, according to The Athletic.

Vieira joined Arsenal from Porto in July 2022 for €35m but has failed to make an impact, scoring three goals and providing 10 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions. He spent last season on a year-long loan at his former club, where he scored four goals and created four in 26 league games. According to David Ornstein, Arsenal would seek a respectable price for the player they splashed out on, but the 25-year-old, per Transfermarkt, holds a market value of €22m with two years remaining on his current deal.

Stuttgart’s approach for Vieira came just hours after it was reported that Millot was on the verge of joining Saudi club Al-Ahli for a reported €28m after the player’s release clause expired.
