Real Madrid are preparing for a significant summer shake-up, and the club’s financial roadmap has now become clearer.

According to Fichajes, Los Blancos have set their sights on generating €200 million through player sales, with three names firmly on the chopping block: Rodrygo Goes, Brahim Diaz, and Andriy Lunin.

All three players have seen their importance dwindle in recent months, especially with the rise of younger stars and the arrival of new Galactico-level signings.

With the club aiming to fund further reinforcements and maintain economic balance, these sales are being seen as crucial for Madrid’s summer strategy.

Rodrygo: A gamble that didn’t pay off

Among the three, Rodrygo is undoubtedly the most high-profile name. Once seen as a central figure for Madrid’s future attack, the Brazilian’s trajectory has plateaued.

The rise of Jude Bellingham and the blockbuster arrival of Kylian Mbappe have pushed Rodrygo further down the pecking order.

Real Madrid are now open to listening to offers in the region of €100 million for the 24-year-old. Manchester City are reportedly very attentive to the situation and could step in with a concrete bid.

If that happens, it would represent a major shift in both Madrid’s sporting and financial outlook.

Brahim and Lunin on thin ice

Brahim’s return to Real Madrid was initially promising, but his impact has waned. Arda Guler is expected to gain more prominence under the new manager and the depth of Madrid’s midfield has significantly reduced Brahim’s role.

Although the player has expressed his desire to stay, the club is willing to part ways if a €60 million offer arrives. It’s a price tag that reflects potential more than recent form.

Lunin’s situation is more straightforward. Despite excellent performances during Courtois’s injury absence, the Ukrainian goalkeeper remains a backup option.

Having recently renewed his contract, Real Madrid are now poised to cash in, with Galatasaray and other clubs showing strong interest. His price is estimated at €40 million—a figure the club sees as fair given his potential and recent displays.
