We have been hearing about a host of names that Chelsea could go for in the market again at the end of the season, and the name of Rafa Leao is one creeping back in again, with Chelsea being linked to him a number of times over the years.

Chelsea of course have already completed the deals to sign two players from Sporting, with one of them arriving this summer and the other the following summer. Apparently, Chelsea felt pressure from other top clubs so that’s why they got the deals for Geovany Quenda and Dario Essugo done early in some pre-deals.

One player who’s career is not going well right now though is Joao Felix, who is becoming a bit of a journey man right now.

The attacker’s loan is not going well at AC Milan this season and Chelsea will have an issue when he returns in the summer as to what to do with him.

Our writer Simon Phillips has a sourced article on Felix out on his Substack site.

He says:

“An SPTC source has been speaking with some Atletico Madrid staff members as well as some current Portuguese internationals, and we have heard that Felix’s talent as a youngster was the best they’d seen at that level from a Portuguese player but according to the source, it is his attitude and arrogance that let’s him down and is ‘horrendous’.

“I guess this could explain a lot and why he floats from club to club trying to find a new home.”
