Kyle Walker has been linked with a move to AC Milan over the past week, and things have moved quite quickly seemingly, with the Rossoneri ready to make an offer.
The right-back situation at Milan is definitely interesting, and many fans would call it frustrating. In the summer Emerson Royal was chosen as the man to replace, or better Davide Calabria. However, this has not been the case.
Calabria has spent time regularly sidelined, forcing Emerson to be the only right-back essentially. Whilst this could have established him, it has shown his consistent weaknesses, and now, a move away could be on the cards.
Looking back to the captain, Calabria has also not done enough to earn an extension, so he is heading towards an exit at the end of the season.
In other words, the Rossoneri have spent money to better the position, yet are in a more worrying situation.
For this reason, the Diavolo have looked to the mercato for options and an opportunity in Kyle Walker has arisen. The Englishman wants to leave Manchester City and he is open to a move.
Whilst a permanent deal was attempted, it was reliant on City releasing the 34-year-old which is not happening, so Milan will send a loan offer tonight, according to Sky.
The Rossoneri are ready to make an offer – a six-month loan with an option to buy – and it could be sent as early as this evening, as per the report.
