Siwelele FC signs former Kaizer Chiefs player
In a move that promises to revitalize a promising career, Tebogo Potsane has penned a new chapter, joining Siwelele FC after a challenging stint with Kaizer Chiefs. The Betway Premiership side officially announced the acquisition of the midfielder, who arrives with a point to prove.
Potsane's time at Naturena was a story of unfulfilled potential, hampered by a frustrating cycle of injuries and spells on the sidelines. His struggle for consistent game time culminated in his exclusion from the Amakhosi's pre-season preparations in the Netherlands, signaling the end of his journey with the club.
Over the course of two seasons, the playmaker managed just 19 appearances in all competitions, a number that underscores his limited impact. His final campaign yielded only eight of those outings, a period in which he failed to find the back of the net and registered just two assists—a return both he and the club would have hoped to be far greater.
Seeking a fresh start and regular football, Potsane opted to depart the Chiefs organization, mutually terminating his contract a year before its scheduled expiration. He now turns his attention to the future, aiming to leave his statistical disappointments in the past and rediscover the form that once made him a coveted talent at Royal AM.
