Sergio Conceicao could hand a Milan debut to England international Kyle Walker, while Hakan Calhanoglu could return to Simone Inzaghi’s Inter line-up when they two sides meet for the Derby della Madonnina in Serie A on Sunday evening.

Walker joined the Rossoneri on loan with an option to buy from Manchester City earlier in the January transfer window, but he has had to watch on for the recent 3-2 win over Parma and the 2-1 loss to Dinamo Zagreb over the last week. He could start alongside the Tottenham Hotspur-linked Fikayo Tomori in defence.

Youssouf Fofana is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Parma last time out in the league, so Ismael Bennacer should come in to start alongside Tijjani Reijnders in midfield.

Santiago Gimenez is in Milan to formally complete his transfer from Feyenoord, and Alvaro Morata is set for Galatasaray, but neither of those deals have been formally announced yet, so Tammy Abraham is expected to start at centre-forward for Milan.

Inter, meanwhile, are expected to keep a more settled line-up following their 3-0 win over Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday, with hat-trick hero Lautaro Martinez likely to keep his place in the line-up alongside Marcus Thuram.

Calhanoglu is also in line for a return following his recent injury lay-off, which could bring a familiar midfield line-up alongside Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Sunday’s derby is due to kick off at 17.00 GMT.
