Simone Inzaghi is set to name his strongest possible Inter XI when the Champions League-chasing Lazio visit San Siro on Sunday evening, with plenty to play for for both sides in the penultimate round of Serie A fixtures.
Inter sit one point behind league leaders Napoli with two games to go, and require Antonio Conte’s side to slip up in one of their final two games of the season if they are to claim their 21st Scudetto.
It is a similar story for Lazio, who require Juventus to drop points if they are to claim the last remaining Champions League spot in the Serie A table. The Biancocelesti and Bianconeri are level on points ahead of Sunday’s matches, although Juventus will be ahead on head-to-head if that is still the case at the end of the season.

Aside from Lautaro Martinez, who trained separately during the week, Inzaghi is set to name his strongest possible Inter XI, with just one change from the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona.
Mehdi Taremi is the expected replacement for Lautaro Martinez in attack.
Lazio are without Mattia Zaccagni and Luca Pellegrini through suspension, while there are fitness doubts over Nuno Tavares and Gustav Isaksen ahead of kick-off.
Sky Sport Italia predict that Pedro and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru are in line to return to Marco Baroni’s starting XI.
Kick-off, like every other game on Sunday, is due at 19.45 BST.
