On their respective accounts, Sadio Mané and Cristiano Ronaldo have shared their reactions after securing a place in the Saudi Super Cup final against Al Ittihad.

This afternoon, Al-Nassr overcame Al-Ittihad (2-1) in the semi-final of the Saudi Super Cup. The qualification was sealed thanks to an early strike from Sadio Mané in the 10th minute. With a spot in the final secured, Cristiano Ronaldo's team also settled scores with Karim Benzema. The former Merengue had previously stated that the best player (himself) would win on Tuesday. That comment clearly didn't sit well with Al-Nassr. "He found fame in his shadow. So he thought today he would be the best!?" wrote the Saudi club on their official X account.

For his part, Sadio Mané, who was shown a red card during the match, congratulated his teammates at the final whistle. "Great team spirit. I'm very happy with the win. It's important to stay focused for much more," wrote the Senegalese star on Instagram, alongside some photos from the match. Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, simply posted "Let's go" on his social media.
