“It went well. There are many practical matters to take care of at the beginning. But now it’s all settled, so I can completely focus on football. There is much more than you think. You have to find a house, a car… Everything that a move to a new place entails.”

“But there are people in the club who help you with everything you need. Obviously I knew I was arriving in a top club. This implies an extremely high level. But I was ready for this. It’s about preparing for a difficult period and having the right attitude, knowing that it’s not a short-term challenge. I signed a five-year contract, it’s a long-term project”.

”I bonded well with Artem Dovbyk, who is also new. We’ve been spending time together since he arrived. We talk a lot. Everyone else speaks mostly Italian.”

”I started to study Italian a little. There is someone in the club who teaches me, but I’m also learning at home with apps. In addition, my girlfriend and I will take a course to learn it faster”.

”De Rossi? An extraordinary person. Not only for the career he had, but also for his authority in the world of football. Playing under his guidance is incredible.”

“Meeting him was surreal. It’s hard to believe being in the same locker room and in the same building with such extraordinary people. It’s incredible and I’m very proud, I have to say.”

”My ambition? To earn a place in the starting line-up. I must show I can deserve it.”

”The competition will always be in football. It won’t be easy at Roma, but I was ready for a challenge when I left Djurgården. It was something I had foreseen. I’ll take my chance when it arrives”.

”My exclusion from Roma’s UEFA list? De Rossi and I talked about this, so we agree on everything. We discussed it together. I listened to what the coach had to say and now I just have to keep working.”

”I will show in training who I am, what I can do and what I want to offer. In the end it’s always him who decides. I just want to show my qualities and, when I get the chance, I want to impress him.”
