Three ‘leaked’ editions of Manchester City’s upcoming home, away, and third shirts have been shutdown as ‘fake’ by a reliable teamwear source.

A claim from earlier this week showcased Manchester City’s alleged kit collection for the forthcoming season through a concept design programme and released on TikTok, sending many supporters into an online frenzy.

While the home kit appeared to showcase a design close to the version that is understood to be reality, Manchester City’s claimed away shirt appeared to be a carbon copy of their iconic and adored 1999 play-off final jersey.

As for the third shirt, the same TikTok user claimed that Manchester City would be wearing a maroon shirt next season, featuring gold features and trims. However, in a fresh development, it is now understood that all three releases are indeed false.

According to the information of the ever-reliable Footy Headlines, the three 2024/25 kits ‘leaked’ by TikTok account ‘zouuna’ are either fake, have been designed based on concepts, and/or renders from predictions by Footy Headlines themselves or other kit designers.

With regards to Manchester City’s home shirt for the forthcoming campaign, it has since been revealed that Puma incorrectly released the edition early through their official online store in China, with one user capturing the official images for social media.

As per X user ‘gentle_wong’, Manchester City’s 2024/25 home shirt will feature the traditional sky blue colour, along with navy trims and white features, while a special homage to the Greater Manchester region can also be seen.

In a controversial move that has certainly split opinion among Manchester City fans online, Puma and their in-house team have opted to use the Greater Manchester dialling code 0161 across a graphic that has been installed into both the cuffs and collar of the shirt.
