AC Milan continued their Serie A campaign with a commanding 3-0 victory over Empoli on matchday 14. The Rossoneri opened the scoring in the 19th minute through Álvaro Morata, followed by a brace from Tijjani Reijnders, who scored in the 44th and 69th minute. MATCH REPORT The first half began with AC Milan immediately taking control of the game, setting the pace. In the 19th minute, the Rossoneri took the lead through Morata, who capitalised on an assist from Emerson Royal to score with a precise right-footed shot. Empoli tried to respond, but AC Milan's defence proved solid, with Thiaw and Gabbia closing down spaces effectively. In the 25th minute, Gabbia received a booking for a foul, but AC Milan continued to press forward. In the 35th minute, Empoli's Colombo was booked for time-wasting. Just before halftime, in the 44th minute, Reijnders doubled AC Milan's lead with a precise shot from a Pulisic assist, putting the Rossoneri 2-0 up.
In the second half, Empoli made two substitutions, bringing on Solbakken and Cacace to try and change the game's momentum. However, AC Milan continued to dominate, with Musah receiving a booking in the 57th minute for a foul. In the 69th minute, Reijnders scored his second goal of the match, effectively sealing the win with a shot from outside the box assisted by Fofana. Empoli attempted to respond, but AC Milan's defence held firm. Fonseca made several substitutions to maintain the intensity, bringing on Chukwueze, Loftus-Cheek, and Pavlović. In the final minutes, Abraham and Camarda came on to add fresh legs. It finished 3-0.
