Cristiano Ronaldo has once again been recognized by fans across the Saudi Pro League landscape, as the Al-Nassr forward has claimed the 2024-25 Roshn Saudi League Fans’ Player of the Season award, according to Saudi Pro League. This marks Ronaldo’s second successive year securing the honour, a testament to both his enduring popularity and on-field impact since joining Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo’s grip on the Fans’ Player accolade was cemented by his frequent match-winning performances—he was awarded Man of the Match more than any other player in the campaign, collecting the distinction an impressive 15 times. It was his standout effort in Matchweek 27, a powerful volley against Al Riyadh that rocketed into the net, which particularly resonated with supporters. Nearly a fifth of total fan votes (19%) were cast in his favour, ensuring he finished comfortably ahead of other nominees.
While Ronaldo took centre stage in individual honours, Al Ittihad featured prominently elsewhere in the awards. N’Golo Kanté’s deft display of skill against Al Khaleej was singled out for Skill of the Season, with the French midfielder’s ability to evade multiple defenders and kickstart a scoring move for Steven Bergwijn drawing widespread admiration. Al Ittihad’s Serbian goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic was voted for Save of the Season, following his remarkable stop to deny Al Hilal’s Malcom—a moment that garnered 28% of the votes, with a second entry for Rajkovic from Matchweek 25 also making the shortlist.
Off the pitch, Al Ittihad’s supporters added to the club’s successful showing, taking home Tifo of the Season for their “Aura” mosaic unveiled during a marquee clash against Al-Nassr in Matchweek 13. Additionally, Al Ittihad managed to secure the Moment of the Season as well, signalling a broad sweep of fan-based accolades.
The annual Fans’ Choice Awards reflect the voices of supporters throughout the Saudi Pro League, highlighting individual and collective brilliance—from Ronaldo’s enduring star power at Al-Nassr to memorable contributions from players and fans across the division.
