According to Fabrizio Romano, one Chelsea player was upset about what happened on transfer deadline day this summer.
Chelsea were obviously very busy on the final day of the window trying to sort out a few situations, mostly player sales. There was some small talk of potentially bringing in a new striker, but in the end they had Marc Guiu return from his loan move to Sunderland after just a few games into the season.
One player who missed out on a move was winger Tyrique George, with his proposed move to Fulham collapsing at the final stages. And it’s already been reported that he will now be part of Chelsea’s Champions League squad this season, but we can assume that means IF he doesn’t go and join another new club with the transfer window still open.
George had been rumoured to be leaving the club on a permanent transfer all summer but it was all left until the final moments and that became a big mistake for all involved.
So now he is stuck at Chelsea and is unlikely to be playing many games at all after Chelsea signed in a bunch of new attackers this summer.

Fabrizio Romano had some info out on this yesterday, and he said:
“Tyrique George was upset after what happened yesterday because for him it was the chance to go and play. Deal collapsed as documents weren’t signed in time. George will move in January if no other opportunities.”
Striker David Datro Fofana also saw his move to Charlton collapse at the final moment, and Romano continued on that:
“Fofana to Charlton, also collapsed with documents not signed in time.”
Not good at all for either of them. Poor from the clubs involved.
